Throughout my career I have specialized in health-related content. I highlight these clips because they are from small publications, which go through a less vigorous editing process than the big glossies. These samples happened to receive minimal, if any, editing.
It is important to get health content right. In addition to putting in a lot of research, transcribing interviews and double-checking stats, I worked closely with experts to ensure accuracy and context.
Most of the topics on this page were assigned. However, I did pitch holiday asthma and allergy triggers, which I feel is a topic that is still largely underreported by mainstream media, and alcohol and fibromyalgia.
